Ryoko Kano (嘉納 亮子, Kanō Ryōko) is a Judo prodigy who is proud of her family's history.

Appearance

Ryoko is a 16 year old girl with brown hair and eyes. She wears a white Judo gi, a long red headband, a black martial arts belt and walks on bare feet. She carries around a large, white duffel bag containing items important to his travels, such as clothing, plane tickets, passports, and local currency. She has a white shirt inside the Judo gi.

Personality

Although she is a talented Judo practitioner, Ryoko was reluctant to continue her training and didn't desire to continue the family tradition.

• Ryoko is based on the real life Judo world champion, Ryoko Tani.
• Ryoko's story also takes inspiration from the manga, Yawara!
